Basilius Valentinus was a Benedictine Monk who published works on Alchemy. Basilius Valentinus was also known as Basil Valentine, however there are no written records of Basil or Basilius prior to the 1800's. It is said that Johann Tholde penned his works under the name of Basilius Valentinus. Basilius was an accomplished Alchemist and believed the world's secretes lied in the Natural and Supernatural phenomena. His works consisted of his "12 Keys" which can be found within his work and images. These "12 Key" provide insight on the decoding of Earth's biggest mysteries.
