Currently the author is a liaison between a major hospital's Patient Accounting Department and its five contracted Medicaid eligibility companies. This positions requires monitoring and analyzing eligibility and production reports concerning Medicaid. He is also knowledgeable of Medicaid billing. He has worked in this capacity for the past twelve years.

Before working for the hospital, the author worked for four years determining eligibility for Medicaid, Food Assistance (Food Stamps), and Cash Assistance (Temporary Cash Assistance) as a Public Assistance Specialist for the Florida Department of Children & Families.

The author has a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree with a major in Finance. He has twenty-four years experience in bank management.
