About the Author

Growing up in the beautiful state of Virginia, Renee had a pretty normal life. She went to school, home than sleep. Her parents were divorced, so she bounced between homes throughout the week. Some days being better than some, when it came down to it. Majority of her time at home, Renee kept to herself, unless she was at school with friends.

Renee found that making friends was always easy. However, she quickly learned that family wasnt always blood. Her friends became her family. Human needs received by family were now provided by her friends. Each one taught her something special or gave her something that she lacked. Being a big fan of theFast and the Furious Franchise, Renee finds herself believing one of Dominic Torrettos lines, "I dont have friends, I have Family". She learned family isnt always about blood relation. Its the people that surround you with love, loyalty, care, laughter and give you the motivation to stay alive another day.

Renee had a fascination with reading and writing, which grew with her as she aged. All through school she would ready many books, and ask her teachers for extra writing assignments. While everyone moaned because they had a new English assignment, Renee smiled. The stories she wrote were just short stories, nothing more. Well until, she was fifteen.

At the age of fifteen, Renee lost her grandmother, her best friend. Devasted and not knowing who to turn to, she began to write. She let her mind wander through her own worked and that is how she wrote her first novel,Nothing But Trouble.

On and off throughout Renee's life, she wrote her book. She dreamed of getting it published, but still had doubts about it being good enough. Because, just like you, she had her insecurities. Would it be good enough? She put it on the back burner, until a voice told her to just do it! So, she went to work. After writing, editing, beta readers advice analyzed, rewrite, edit again, and finally, her book was done.

Renee has a wonderful support system. Her family is getting bigger. Her overcoming her insecurities is making her stronger. Her imagination is expanding. The lessons she has learned fromFast and the Furious franchise made her wiser and the love from her boyfriend is making her healthier.
