Overview

She thought she would love him forever. She may hate him for longer than that.

Flip Abbott thought her marriage to Tris Waterhouse would last forever, but a betrayal was an incendiary device that killed it. Now she's struggling to survive. Leaving her loft studio apartment in New York City, Flip finds a remote cottage in the Catskills. Here she can put her life back together and resume her career as a photographer. To heal, all she needs is the absence of emotion.
Until breaking news on the television breaks the silence with a report of a terrible accident. If she thought losing him once is unimaginable, losing him twice is unbearable. Confronted by his possible death, Flip is frantic, distraught and then shocked when in the middle of the night, Tris comes to the door.
He's not willing to give up on them. Can they forgive each other and make it work again? Can they overcome the forces working against them?

A story of holding on, Not Close Enough is about transformative love and the power of forgiveness.

About the Author

I was born in New York City but now live somewhere else with a large red horse named Ziggy, and a much smaller American Staffordshire Terrier named Lulu. Both are very good company.

After not getting a job as a photo journalist, and leaving the stable I started, I turned to novels figuring that would be something good to do for a while. It turned out to be a long while. I wrote YAs and they were traditionally published. One was made into a television movie. Then I worked in daytime television becoming one of the youngest headwriters in the history of daytime television. I even won a Writers Guild of America award for my work on “One Life To Live”.
