Northwest Poems
Northwest Poems is a diverse collection of humorous and serious poetry that consists of six different chapters. Like traveling through six countries, the reader will encounter a different experience in each chapter. You won't be bored! You'll experience poems about animals that talk with authority to people. And poems about love lost and why poets write poetry.
Chapter two consists of poems about people's experiences in a city. From Seattle skyscrapers that are compared to the tower of Babylon, to a man or woman's decision to stay in one of God's mansions or return to work. there is plenty of poetry to enjoy.
Chapter three consists of poems you can read or sing aloud; secular psalms that will go well with instrumental music.
Chapter four explores death with respect, humor, and danger. Devils have their say to people who think they are cleverer.
Chapter five consists of poems about war. These poems are not pretty or heroic, they put war's futility, cruelty, and destruction on a personal level.

Chapter six explores Oppressions in many guises applied by people to other people. That hurts, and most people experience oppression in some form by their employer and other people who don't realize they are doing it.
Northwest poems is an amazing book to read, it engages the reader in songs, conversation, humor, love, poems that are just fun to read, serious issues as death, oppression and war. Northwest Poems looks at the big picture as individuals, socially, and in nature.
