Joe Lumer was born in a displaced-persons camp to Holocaust survivors after World War II. He has been trying to understand the meaning and implications of those times for many years. Noah the Water Carrier and Other Stories is an attempt to comprehend the events of the Holocaust from a different perspective of time.
