About the Author

Marguerite Benjamin Parker has taught English composition and technical writing on the college level for fifteen years. Parker received both her BA (English/Creative Writing) and MA (Multicultural Literature) degrees from East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina, and has used her expertise in higher education as well as in the business sector as a freelance writer and business stationery designer.

Her work has been published in various industry magazines, including Gift Basket Review, once the premiere print publication for the gifting industry in which she has also worked as a small-business owner for over a decade.

In 2007, Parker released her first novella, A Debt Too Deep, under her own imprint, Parker Bordeaux Press. A Debt Too Deep is a work of inspirational fiction that has received high praise from readers and genre critics. A sequel, Where Credit Is Due, was released in 2010. Also released in 2010, Gift Design Essentials, Volume 1, is a basic guide for novice gift industry professionals. Parker is also founding member of Literally GEMS Book Club.

No Time Like the Present (2013) is Parker’s first publication exclusively released for e-readers. It paves the way for a full series of “Gifted Natalie” novellas.
