About the Author

Isabel Coixet is a Spanish film director, screenwriter, translator, and writer. She graduated with a degree in History from the University of Barcelona. She has worked in advertising and ad writing, for which she won many awards. She founded her own production company in 2000, Miss Wasabi Films, after having begin her career as a screenwriter and director in 1988. She has won numerous awards throughout her career for her work in screenwriting and directing.
