No Rhyme Nor Reason
35 free verse poems unified only by the fact, with one exception, that they were written this year. The one exception is the final poem, Garden of Sand, written around 1996. It was included primarily because even though it was written 23 years ago, it theme is still relevant today. Some poems are tongue in cheek, such as An Evil Woman, somewhat from the prespective of Brett Kavanaugh or The National Anthem, where the definition of patriotism is examined. The majority of the poems deal with the individual and the individuals place in contemporary society.
