The heart is where everything has been decided in your life. Good and bad alike. A story based on the life of a woman whose childhood was taken at a very early age and what life was like as an adult. Living in a world where the first thing people see is the external, not really interested in why we are the way we are.

It is a story of how childhood trauma affects every area of your life as an adult. In everyday life, those we encounter don't know what you have experienced after you dress it all up, put on your mask, and walk out the door. Women and men join themselves together and try to do life from a broken state while bringing children into their own brokeness. I pray you will read and share it. I believe lives will be greatly impacted and at the end of it all, the Creator God Noticed I'm grateful. I'll spend the rest of my life endeavoring to speak life to those desolate places in ones life. Your pain is not in vain! I'm going after the abused AND the abuser!

About the Author

Michelle Dilworth is a woman who has realized God’s miracle working power to use broken vessels to accomplish His purpose in the earth. She is a servant whose strongest desire is to be transparent and strong in the lives of individuals God has privileged her to be a part of.

Michelle has a passion to see people go deeper in their relationship with God; that they may walk in their God given purpose! Agreeing with what God says about who they are, and not what their circumstance has afforded them. She believes in the power of speaking life. So many people have been shaped by the words that have been spoken into their life and diminished by words spoken over their life they have come into agreement with negative words and are living a defeated life. She understands that when she spoke Jesus come into my heart and save me, those words carried with them the power to lift others out of any situation.

Michelle became a Professional Cosmetologist in 1993 and it was then she was introduced to the Savior. In the field of cosmetology, she was fashioned to be the woman she is today. Realizing the area she serves, is much more than a career, it is a ministry. Women have come with burdens, strongholds, illnesses, bitterness, hatred and anger. When praying for restoration in these situations she learned the power of unity and confidentiality and most of all love. Michelle’s perpetual prayer is God teach me to love as you love and be able to speak life into the lives of women you allow me to style. Spending countless hours in the workplace Michelle discovered a prayer ministry through the founder of Women’s marketplace prayer, which she would meet monthly to pray for the city and nation.

She is the mother of three young kings and eight grandchildren. Michelle has served in the Battered Women’s shelter, Agape pregnancy center and the One by One outreach ministry.

Michelle is the CEO and Founder of Queen’s in Need Women’s Ministry nonprofit organization. It is a ministry to educate, enhance, house, and equip women with children who have been abused and neglected. It is to break the cycle of abuse and give them the necessary tools to live an abundant life.
