About the Author

JD McCroskey is a debut fantasy author with a background in various forms of Theology as well as Mythology and Legend. He uses his knowledge and experience with the supernatural to create characters and situations that are believable based on very real belief systems. He is an openly gay man and enjoys writing LGBT Characters to provide those who are struggling with their own identity with people with whom they can relate.

He is currently completing the second book of the Angelic Human Series as well as working on two new series. One is a Sci-Fi future-set series and the other is a YA LGBT Fantasy.

The characterization and character development in this novel is very strong and I found myself feeling for
every single character, regardless of if I liked them or not. This tenuous balance kept me from putting the
book down until I finished it.

The author deserves praise for this work for his use of language, imaginative ideas, as well as his attention to
inclusivity throughout the novel. I can't wait until the second installment of this series is available for me
to devour!
