Overview

Legends come to life on the Rheine. Leon Crypto loves chasing legends and monsters across the world. He and his team, Crypto & Co, have been making a good living at it for three years on national television. Of course they have been only chasing them because everyone knows that monsters and legends do not exist. Of course not all monsters and legends agree with everyone.
When a barge filled with chemicals wreaks on the Rheine River, the locals say it is all because of the Lady of the Lorelei. Leon and his team of adventurers take the first plane they can to check out the Legend of the Lorelei hoping to boost their falling ratings and save their jobs. They find themselves helping the local police in an effort to solve a hideous murder and strange missing person’s case. As they delve deeper into the case, they find themselves caught in the middle of an age old war. Unfortunately, one of the team has a secret which will shake the foundation of everything they knew to be true.
To survive, they have to solve a two thousand year old legend and learn to rely on each other as they have never done before. They will have to find out who they really are and only the power of their friendship can stop the oncoming darkness. Who is the Lady of the Lorelei and did she really cause the accident on the Rheine? She is not telling and who will survive The Night at the Lorelei.

About the Author

. I grew up in the country, by a small town in Missouri where I could run the forest, swim in the rivers and ponds, and had plenty of dark, cold and wet caverns to explore and dream. I went to a wonderful public school where I found a way to express my fantasy in words and bring my dreams out so that others could share them. My major entertainment was role playing games and enjoying the simple things in nature.
Out of school, I would soon join the US Army and broaden my knowledge of the world outside my tiny community, to include countries like Italy, Germany, Iraq and Yugoslavia. With a new outlook on how the world worked my natural curiosity to drive me, I began to look how other cultures can see the same thing differently.
Once I finished with an Army career I began to use some of my other talents and start a new career in government contracting. This short career would take me all over Europe and the Middle East where I would actually spend more time dealing with local civilians and culture.
From all of this I have learnt something very important. In the world there are monsters that roam the dark and speak dark things into the ears of the unwary, and there are people that fight them.
