Born in Niagara Falls, NY, Barbara A. Lynch-Johnt is a lifelong native of the Western New York area. She earned a BS in Sociology and a BA in English from the State UniversityCollege at Buffalo and has worked in the publishing industry since 2000. She is the owner of Basia Photography and specializes in wedding photography, fashion shoots, and fine art photography. Her images have been exhibited in numerous local galleries. She is the coauthor of Illustrated Dictionary of Photography: The Professional's Guide to Terms and Techniques for Film and Digital Imaging (Amherst Media, 2008)
