Born in Chicago in 1962, Christ Zomaya wrote his first computer program at the age of fifteen. By 1980, he was working his way through college as a computer operator and programmer. In 1987, after graduating from college, he formed his first computer company. Within its first seven years of business, the company became one of the leading global manufacturers in the computer RAM industry. Zomaya was named an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year.
