Overview

Studly and Neenee are the main characters in the yarn part of the book, and they have some whoppers, wacky adventures, and whimsy in their lives - some of it entirely true, some embellished, and some strictly fiction.
There is a pen and a treasure discovered which leads back to a Creative Writing teacher and a grandfather that left a clue of his journeys. The two come together to give Neenee inspiration, life lessons, and advice to her boys about the importance of kindness, working hard, having fun, and seeking truth. The poetry transitions from early poems of school work to personal honors about the people in the writer's life.
There is a puzzle running throughout ...well, you'll have to figure it out. Quirky, right?

* On the left page, you will find the explanation: person, place, event, notes about, feelings, or reason for the poem. This is the true, auto-biographical part.

* There is a yarn in the last paragraph of the left page which continues throughout the book, some parts may be true, some may be completely fiction. It is a fun story. It includes a puzzle that you'll learn about later.

* A poem will be on the right-hand page.

About the Author

Janine is a 68-year-old wife, mother, grandmother, poet, and retired Office Manager with her debut novel and memoir laid out in this book. Her only publication was an early poem published in a college poetry booklet. Her birthday rap song was included in a CD when being selected in a Steelapalooza contest because “Anyone who would tackle the traditional birthday song has guts,” said the contest judge. Many poems she has written to honor someone; she has read aloud to the one honored and to the audience surrounding the event, at birthdays, retirements, funerals, and weddings.
