A Cold War Thriller

The Office of Naval Intelligence, ONI, assigns Petty Officer Rigney Page undercover to a small U.S. Navy Communications Station on Greece's Aegean coast.

Page's mission: Surveil a scheming master chief who is suspected of espionage.

ONI planned Page's mission to be a routine monitor and report operation. But his mission becomes complicated when he encounters violent and unethical sailors and a mentally disturbed commanding officer.

Rigney's romance with the commanding officer's niece is the talk of the base and incurs the wrath of the commanding officer.

The mission turns deadly when enemy operatives make their move to silence Page and the master chief he is surveilling.

Michael Ellis was raised in Southern California and Central Pennsylvania. After graduating from high school, he joined the U.S. Navy. His assignments included cruisers, submarines, and shore tours in Europe, Central America, and the Western Pacific. After retiring from the navy, Michael worked as a systems analyst and information-technology consultant. During 2006, he retired from the corporate world and pursued his decades-long desire to author Cold War thrillers.
