Overview

The second full-length release from the whole NCT crew, NCT Resonance, Pt. 1 reunites the 23 members from NCT 127, NCT U, NCT Dream, and WayV for a pulse-pounding blast of hard-hitting K-pop dance anthems. Following 2018's Empathy, the crew steadily expanded their global presence with over a dozen albums and EPs from the various sub-units, topping charts in Korea and the U.S. in the process. With Resonance, they keep the energy high with hip-hop-influenced, electronic-tinged cuts like "Make a Wish (Birthday Song)" and "Deja Vu." This LP also marks the debut of new members Sungchan and Shotaro, who appear on the Korean and English versions of "Make a Wish," as well as "Light Bulb" and "Misfit." In addition to landing at number one in Korea and on the U.S. World chart, the set also broke into the Top Ten on the main Billboard 200. ~ Neil Z. Yeung
