About the Author

Meredith Coleman McGee is the author of five books and a contributor of four additional works including several children's books. McGee is also a contributing writer for the Jackson Advocate, the acquisition editor and publisher of Meredith McGee, and a children's advocate.

Loretha Wallace is an author, poet, and illustrator. She created the Nashida character for the Moses Meredith Children's Book Series which is displayed in Nashida: Visits the Smith Robertson Museum and Nashida: Visits the Mississippi State Capitol.

This was a very informational children’s book narrated by an eight-year-old fictional character. I have been in Mississippi all my life and didn’t know all the history in this book. The Moses Meredith Cultural Arts Book Series will be an asset to teach children culture and history.
