About the Author

Alan Bianco is a renaissance man, at least in his own mind. While he has spent most of his life as a lawyer, has also been employed repairing street potholes, delivering cosmetics, announcing polo matches, stocking supermarket shelves, creating computer software, operating a website, teaching at a university, and inspecting apartments in Harlem. This gives him a unique (some say skewed) outlook on humanity in particular and life in general. Al grew up in New York (although he was born in Newark, NJ). Like many of his elderly New York countrymen, he moved to Florida to get a tan and pay less taxes. Now a resident of Naples, he enjoys all aspects of Neapolitan life, except driving behind a Flying Florida Pick (see page 76) or waiting at the slowest traffic lights in the Western Hemisphere.Naples Secrets in the Sun is Al's first attempt at creative writing, but not his first attempt at humor (that would be his political humor website: meaningoflifesatire.com).
