About the Author

Having been married 25 years and pursued 3 separate notable careers at nearly 50 years of age (one which I retired at) has allowed me to finally take a moment for myself and look at life from a different perspective. With 3 grown children out of the house, I finally have to time reflect on what life has granted me (in time) and the ability to use it more adequately.

The founder of Full Sail University once told me to "stop being a victim of your circumstance and take control of your future." Five years ago I took a leap of faith and took a 65% pay cut to pursue my dream as a writer. My circumstances have always placed me in a well-paying job where I could excel and make a living but it was never what I wanted to do. This book marks the beginning of the journey into what I want to do and the legacy I hope to leave in words.
