Iain Piercy aka Dean Queazy thought up The Bongles in 1986 and they have been brought to life ever since! He says this about his art : "I think it's a style that has just come naturally to me - it's how I use watercolors. I use simple shapes and my characters are always kind of quite quirky, with weird eyes and long noses." He has created a number of educational film works and illustration projects for Scottish Opera including the animated story books for the awarding winning children's operas.
