Mysteries of the Sexes
AUTHOR’S FOREWORD

Distinguished scientists that affirm that till forms of life did really descent from a few primordial ones. We have virgin insects, bees, silkworms, and other living intelligences, why not a higher order of beings? How little the wisest of us all know of the mighty powers of Gods or supernatural celestial forms of life. We have much to learn of other life, other worlds, other beings, besides terrestrial or earthy ones. The basis of the entire teaching of Christ. What future holds in store for man and womankind; a nobler life, than mere sex factors or human propagators. Almost criminal hypocritical, devilish, even shameful, perverted ignorance of sexual conditions. The greatest problem known to science and humanity. A moving picture of human creationism. The author's conclusion.

"Come now, let us reason together, Prove all things, Hold fast that which is good."—Scriptures.

"If it be said, see this is new, it hath been of old times, which was before us."—Eccles. 1:9,10.

AN APPEAL TO REASON

PHILOSOPHY, when superficially studied, creates and excites doubt; when thoroughly explored, dispells it, and while a little research into great subjects inclines one's mind to atheism, depths of philosophy bringeth the mind about to religion and truth."—Bacon, in "Advancement of Learning."

WHEREFORE, let no man, out of weak conceit or ill-applied moderation, think or maintain that man can search too far, or be too well versed in researches of ancient or modern times— the belief in God's or man's work—Divinity, Science, Philosophy, but rather, let them unite and endeavor an endless proficiency in all, and thus represent the true spirit of eternal progress onward, that the truth may eventually prevail.

WHEREFORE, I say, "Hearken to me, I also will show mine opinion."—See Job, 32-4-34.

"When Castellet," says Alfred Russel Wallace, Darwin's coadjutor, "informed Raeumer that he reared perfect silk worms from eggs laid by a virgin moth, the answer was: 'Ex Nihilo nihil jet,' and all science refused to believe it, because it was, they claimed, contrary to one of the widest and most established laws of nature Yet today it is universally known and admitted to be true. A thousand similar instances could be cited, for we are still living in an age of skepticism, despite the fact that change or reversals of opinions are more frequent now than then. Progress in art and science is so rapid that we are constantly forced to repudiate old teachings and ideas, unlearn and learn over again, because of new fresh light being thrown on old subjects, and if it is true that history repeats itself it is safe to say— on similar lines of progress—we will commence over again in the future, as we have in the past.

Most of the facts recorded in this volume on "Bisexual Man" are the result of a lifetime of patient and almost exhaustive scientific research, travel, and exploration, much of which was made with a view of submitting to the scientific and truth-loving world certain facts, conclusions, proofs touching upon the "Origin and Descent of Man from a Supreme Being," in opposition to the theory of descent from anthropoidal or other sources and it is urgently requested, that the trinity or triad of human tribunals (Press, Public, Pulpit) will suspend judgment, at least until the evidence submitted is most carefully considered or reviewed, from title and dedicatory page to conclusive chapters. If this is done the author promises some astounding revelations or light in dark places, such as the reader little expects in a work of this nature.
