The allure of magick, this is what drew Martha Pressler towards the occult. Combining nature worship with Satanism, she kept her new religion a secret from her mom for months. Despite the great enjoyment she'd experienced from her nightly rituals and demonic worship, she was so miserable that thoughts of suicide entered her mind. She later became a Christian; however, her troubles were far from over. Literally haunted by her personal demon and coping with a phobia of demons, she found the next thirteen years to be difficult, somehow managing to live with these issues as well as enjoying life to an extent. However, when her phobia became more severe and the paranormal activity became more frequent, she experienced a Hellish time of terror.
