Overview

I moved to the Midwest in June 2022. The city was larger than the small town that I grew up in. The house was an old one having been built in1936. It was two bedrooms but had a large basement which included a recreation area, laundry and furnace room, as well as a small room next to the stairs.

It was locked when the realtor and I examined the house before purchase. If there was a key to the room, no one could be found. I was curious and hired a locksmith to come and remove the old door knob. It didn't take long.

When we opened the door and the inside of the room wasn't anything special, but there was something strange about it ....
