About the Author

Brialan is a survivor and was diagnosed with asthma at the age of three and autism at the age of five. He has survived so much in life, including bullying and abuse. In his words, "I refuse to let bad things get me down. I too, survive. I thank God for who I am today. I thank my mother for all she has done for me. It is my time to shine. I am a survivor of physical abuse from my father. I was homeless. My mother taught me never to give up. I was diagnosed with autism by man. I am applied by God." Brialan enjoys writing, reading, video games, and spending time with his two dogs, Karma and Izza. He also has a pet turtle he adores by the name of Tiara.
