The Love for Reptiles and Amphibians: Theadoshia Goings' Story
Theadoshia Goings has always had a passion for drawing and a fondness for reptiles and amphibians. In fact, if she wasn't carrying a notepad and pencil, she would have a snake or toad in her hand. Growing up in the woods meant her family interacted with wild skinks, toads, frogs, newts, turtles, ring neck snakes, and Dekay's brown snakes. As a child, she owned a leopard gecko, and later, with her husband, they acquired a bearded dragon, tree frogs, crested geckos, a tokay gecko, and a leachianus. Their daughter has also developed a fascination with snakes, fuzzy spiders, and enjoys observing axolotls. With her love for these creatures, Theadoshia decided to write a book to inform both children and adults about the various types of reptiles and amphibians commonly found in pet stores and hopes to inspire others to appreciate these amazing creatures.
