Overview

"My Own Poetry - Poems Straight from The Heart" is my first edition of poems, which I have been writing for over 20 years.

I started writing them when I was still a young boy. Like everyone else, I was in love more than once and I tried to "poured" my feelings onto the paper.

I already have over 200 such poems in my collection, and there were even more of them. Unfortunately, some of them are missing, and there were too many of them to remember.

In this part of my collection, you'll find mainly poems written just 20 years ago. In this way, I want to share my poetry with others and show that each of us can actually write our own.

About the Author

Hello everyone.

My name is Krzysztof Bolesta and I live in England with my wife and three wonderful daughters.

For as long as I can remember, in elementary school we were always told to read books in which famous authors also wrote poems. Hence my interest in poems.

Then I started to think about starting to write poetry myself. However, I knew that it would not be as easy as it may seem - but I believed that I could do it.

I wrote my first poem when I was a young boy.

I've always wanted to impress girls, but didn't know how to do it.
I decided to start writing poems to them, and that was basically where it started.

I wrote my first poem when I was 18. It was a great success for me then, because I was the only one in my group to write a poem. It was great because I didn't think I could do it.

Later it was easier and I actually started writing my poems 2 years later. The poems I have written are full of feelings, pain and despair.

There is also a lot of love and joy in them, although sometimes they are interwoven with feelings related to pain, dilemma or great despair.

Why such poems?

Because our life is always on the run. Because in our life there are many of these feelings, sometimes they intertwine with each other creating unity - OURSELF.
