About the Author

JEREMY RENNER is a two-time Academy Award-nominated actor who has earned critical acclaim for his work in both independent cinema and major blockbusters, solidifying his reputation as one of Hollywood’s most dynamic actors. Renner first gained widespread attention with his portrayal of Jeffrey Dahmer in Dahmer; he later delivered a breakout performance in The Hurt Locker as an adrenaline-driven bomb disposal expert, earning his first Academy Award nomination for Best Actor. His role in The Town, as a fiercely loyal yet dangerous bank robber, garnered him a second Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor.

In a freak accident, he was run over by his 14,000-pound Sno-Cat, a vehicle used to groom snowy and icy surfaces. Neither his prose nor his narration is stellar; he uses street language, occasionally pauses mid-sentence, and runs words together at ends of sentences.
