About the Author

LaChanda Miles is a mother of 4 and a grandmother of 1 (grandson). She is an
author, podcaster (Words of Inspiration), and the Owner/Photographer of Lovely Lade
Photography. She has written in two anthology projects as a contributing author.
The first book “Life According to the Busy Single Parent” . In her chapter entitled “The Single
Desperate for God Parent”. She tells of her experiences with raising a son diagnosed with Autism,
ADD, ADHD and inspires to instill hope and faith in parents facing the same issues.
In her second anthology book entitled “Cheers to the Ones Who Raised Us”, she pays homage to her
family for all that they done to raise her. Her chapter in this book is entitled“ It Takes A Village” in
which she speaks about her grandparents and parents regarding the sacrifices that they made for
her and her siblings.
LaChanda’s faith in Jesus Christ drives her to be the best woman that she can be, not only in God but
to her family, and friends as well. She is a survivor,a go-getter, and she doesn’t give up.
Her favorite scripture that she stands on is Jeremiah 29:11, because it has been prophesied to her
that God has plans, hopes, and a great future for her life.
