קורנליה האס נולדה באאוגסבורג‏,‏ ‏גרמניה‏,‏ ‏בשנת 1972‏. היא למדה עיצוב באוניברסיטה הטכנית במינסטר ובעלת דיפלומה בעיצוב מאוניברסיטה זו. משנת 2001 היא מאיירת ספרי ילדים ונוער‏,‏ ‏ומשנת 2013 היא מלמדת ציור אקריל וציור דיגיטלי באוניברסיטה הטכנית במינסטר‏.‏‏
אולריך רנץ נולד ב1960 בשטוטגרט‏,‏ ‏גרמניה. הוא למד ספרות צפרתית בפריז ורפואה בליבק. לאחר מכן ניהל הוצאה לאור מדעית. כיום רנץ הוא סופר עצמאי המתעסק בספרות עיונית ובספרות ילדים ונוער‏.‏‏
