About the Author

Ella Dembeck was born in Germany and moved to Canada in 1978. She has been a teacher for over 15 years. This is her first book as an author and she hopes to write another book soon. The pandemic has been hard on everyone, especially on children. She wrote this story in the middle of the first lockdown, because she could emphasize with the pain and confusion children all over the world were feeling. She is hoping that this book provides a springboard for discussions between parents, teachers and children, about emotions they experienced and how they coped. Ella has two grown children, Tamo 29 yrs old and Neona 17 yrs old.
