MY LIFE (From Tragedy to Destiny), a contemporary, literary non fiction story of Twana Denise Lawler known to some as Niecy. A proud, intelligent woman whom over the years has added poet, playwright and author of her BIO. She has overcome many instances in life and it is said in this book. From losing father to suicide, teenage pregnancy, sexual assault and much more and with every punch she became stronger. It did not be too good in the first half, but the latter will be greater. Twana wrote two plays "Who did I Marry? " starring Terri Vaughn and Tommy Ford. "God's Precious Jewels" starring Robin Givens. With the recognition of her gift people wanted her to write for them. She was raising her five grandchildren and living with her life. She was not aware of the news to come. Twana share her hurts and pain and dealing with a chronic illness in MY LIFE. Her faith and love for God got her through. She admits that she questioned God, "Why Me? And His reply was why not you? She now knows things happen for a reason. Writing is her love and desire. Her belief is if one person is touched by her words than she is truly blessed. She is now sharing her story on radio and speaking engagements.

About the Author

Twana is a poet, playwright, screenwriter, author and Motivational Speaker. She is currently available to share her story in My Life. Suicide and many years later HIV Positive after ten years of celibacy. Denial and depression came into place. With no medicine or medical support for three years she began to dispose of seizures. It was the deep denial that prevented her from doing what it is that she supposed to do. After the seizure she was conducted with AIDS/Dementia. She was full blown AIDS. Through therapy and love her daughters demonstrated she wanted to live. To the surprise of the medical professionals she came back. She is no longer part AIDS/Dementia, she is HIV Positive and not on death row. It was her strength that kept her as she had to deal with horrible things in her life she was made aware that she can deal with HIV. That is when MY LIFE (From Tragedy To Destiny)
