My King and I is an inspirational Testimony of how God can transform lives, deliver, and heal broken marriages. Pastor Advonda Ward-Small is a living testimony of God's healing power. She was born on the beautiful Island of Barbados but now resides in the United States of America with her husband, children, and grandchildren. She also holds a bachelor's degree in Theology and is the Overseer of God's Vision Church in Brooklyn, New York. She is also gifted with a five-fold Ministry as a Prophet, teacher, preacher, Evangelist, and Apostle.
She preaches and teaches the Word of God without compromise. She is a pillar of strength unto others both near and far. Pastor Ward-Small, a true woman of God, is a prime example of how the "power of a praying wife" transformed her husband Charles from his womanizing ways. As a result of her intercession, her husband's anointing was unfolded and he is now an avid messenger of the true and living God. The Lord sent him a "destiny helper", his wife Advonda, to aid in his transformation-physically, mentally and most importantly, spiritually. It was during that process that her marriage was reshaped into a Christ-like union, just as God had instituted in the Garden of Eden.
She has overcome trials, setbacks, and an experience that left her at death's door. She was bitten by a cat, developed sepsis, and became extremely sick. Due to her illness, she spent multiple times in the operating room, and several months in the hospital, but yet by God's grace, came out victorious. Pastor Ward-Small faithfully believed in God for her miracle and received complete healing because of her sterling faith. The Lord delivers again, if He did it for Pastor Ward-Small then He will also do it for you. Jehovah-Rapha, the one who heals.
