Overview

It began as a radio show in 1947 (the idea, some say, "borrowed" from a failed pitch the year before),
and spawned from there a TV show, books, films, and of course comics (Atlas #3-48; 1950-1955). The tales of a ditsy but well-meaning blonde and her assortment of slightly offbeat friends, MY FRIEND
IRMA was one of the most popular entertainment franchises of its time. The concept itself has been
"borrowed" many times since - in fact, shortly after ceasing publication of MY FRIEND IRMA, Atlas magically came up with the idea for MY GIRL PEARL. Amazing, isn't it? Mostly written by Stan Lee and drawn by Dan DeCarlo, this is a classic series you don't want to miss - and since they surprisingly forgot to renew the copyrights, you don't need to!
This book was compiled with the best images currently available. That stated, these comics are nearly seventy years old. The best efforts have been made to make the pages as enjoyable as possible but not every panel is perfect and some allowances for the age of the books need to be considered when judging the overall contents.
THIS BOOK IS AVAILABLE IN BOTH HARD COVER AND TRADE PAPERBACK FORMATS AS WELL AS IN FULL COLOR OR BLACK & WHITE
