About the Author

An author who believes in writing compassionate kid’s books on different topics such as gender dysphoria, mental illness, and gender identity. Inclusive children’s literature is few and far between, very hard to find, and very few people actually write about a topic that is so complex and contentious.

Lynne Muller believes that family acceptance stories need to be told, which is why she wrote this book to better understand gender diversity. My brother is a girl who is all about being the most compassionate kid’s book, trying to explain the message in a way that children can easily pick up on.

This is a great children’s book, and transgender and LGBTQ-related problems aren’t discussed often enough in the realm of kid’s books. Lynne Muller is a former teacher school counselor and advocate who has many years of experience in the subject of counseling children. Her love of teaching was brought about by her family, which was filled with educators. She wrote this book from her experience counseling children who suffered due to their gender identity.
