Overview

We welcome students to our easy-mastery third grade reading program that includes important components to help the catch-up kid become a better reader.

The 11-chapter book, "Jake & The Boom! Pop! Sizzle!" is written with 3rd grade vocabulary words and is the adventure of an amazing dog that takes his owners on a big chase that leads to surprises that no one expected could happen. This chapter book comes after the many-sectioned third grade word practice sentences.

The practice words in this book are arranged into five groups of basic sight word sentences with an extra group of third grade sentences for more practice. Group one features easier words and from there the groups move forward to complete grade three vocabularies. This is an easy method for catch-up or building new skills. Activities for enhancing spelling and writing are also included to round out meeting a third grader's literary academic challenges. Easy to use and fun to do!

Busy families find this method of reading practice easy and effective. Just read a few sentences a day for sight word review or initial learning and then read the chapter book, which is kid-friendly and fun.

This book is appropriate for ESL students, too.
