Overview

It was supposed to be a family vacation in upstate New York. Professor Brad Davison of Queens College and his family would spend two weeks with NYPD Inspector Mag Goldman and his family at a resort to wind down from a long school year and from the Robin Hood Horde serial murders.
But when a series of murders occur at The Rectory, an old mansion that had once been a station on the Underground Railroad in pre-Civil War America, Mag and Brad are drawn into the investigation by the local police who feel that a NYPD homicide detective would be of great help in solving the crimes.
As the bodies continue to mount up, Brad researches the history of The Rectory and is astonished at what had occurred there in the past.
Legends, superstitions and eerie occurrences compound the difficulty of the investigation which could possibly embroil local politicians into the sordid history and present crimes that are taking place at The Rectory.
Once again, Brad Davison, hero of three other serial killings in New York City is on the case
