Overview

Yes, it's another in a string of writings about inspiration, events, and the world around us, and the links to creative writing. And it offers yet more ideas about the ways we can think even more productively about our creative art. This broadside starts by introducing the notion of how we use a project mindset to get what we want. It's fun and light, not dull and boring. Isn't that great?...

About the Author

About The Author, Wim Baren Wim Baren is the pen name for me, the author. I've an abiding fascination with history and the many things throughout it that are so incredible that they could not have been made up. I attended an eastern college and then served in the nation’s armed forces for three years in Viet Nam, a very green place with, at that time, a high metallic density to the air. From there, I realized that my technology education at college was obsolete. So I went to a small business school where I learned all about strategy and business and finance, and entered the financial services business. I labored diligently in that industry until I realized that people didn't wanted advice so much as they wanted help on actually getting things done that they wanted to get done. So I turned my hand to consulting in project management, became an independent consultant, developed professional education courses in projects and risk and leadership, even a software learning application (!), and generally made as if this were my final career choice. But it wasn’t. I've written one really large story - The Crimson Emperor - and a couple of short stories - The Muse, The Canary in the Mine - which you might get some enjoyment from reading. I've also published notes-like blurbs about getting inspiration to write creatively - Mozart's Brain - in a series of really short broadsheets with writing ideas that I've had since beginning this path, and thought it would be a nice thing to share them with anyone interested.
