Overview

Mounting the Moon is the first ever anthology of LGBTQ-themed Nigerian poetry. It had to be broad in scope and generous in attitude. So the poems touch on a wide range of queer experience, explore a wide range of styles and forms, and inevitably vary in quality. Everyone who picks up this book will be struck by the immense energy and variety of contemporary Nigerian queer voices and will find work that touches their deepest feelings.
