Mothering
"Mothering" contains three, true stories about mothers. The first story, "Birthing Marissa," is an intimate, personal look at childbirth from a mother's perspective. "Getting to Know Kathy," the second story in this triology, tells how one woman comes to know a mother she will never get to meet. Then, "Mama Cat and Me," is the author's own story about a life-lesson she learned from a mama cat.

About the Author

Hi. A little bit about me. I'm a Kentucky girl, born in Ohio but raised in the Bluegrass state since I was four. I am passionate about my worship to God and enjoy serving Him with my music and writing. I love to be with my children and grandchildren, play musical instruments, read, sing and watch Downton Abbey and old reruns of Judging Amy on television. I also enjoy riding my motorcycle and my favorite place to go is church! I love an adventure!I've got five children who put up with me and who I believe are the greatest gifts I've ever received besides my salvation. Then there's my wonderful mother, who I am so blessed to still have and who most of my books are dedicated to and my husband, who is like Jesus in the way that he still loves me despite my short-falls on a day to day basis. So far, I've published three novels and one novelette. I'm proud of all of them because people tell me they don't want to put them down once they get started. And once they get started, they're in "Regina World!" That's where I can weave them a life-like story without being preachy or them having to worry what kind of smut they're putting in their minds and hearts. That's extremely important to me.So, if you want to read an interesting story, filled with excitement and twists about a woman who has gone through a divorce and has a difficult, trouble-making, gorgeous sister who has a terrible secret she's hiding, read "Heartstorms." If you like adventure and romance and a little mystery, read "As if They Always Knew." A woman learns to ride a motorcycle in that book but it's not about motorcycles per se.Then, my latest novel, "Lovely Strings," has it all. It's over four hundred pages long and has everything from mystery to romance. There's some surprises in it and a story within a story that unwraps to show different layers of people's lives and how they got to be where they are...stranded together in a cabin in the woods.I've got a web-site too and I write a blog you can access from there. There's also a place to drop me a note. You can get a few free chapters of my novels on my web-site if you'd like to take a peek before buying. reginarussell.weebly.com.So, come on in to Regina World! Like Mama always said: Take off your coat and stay a while.
