I’m writing this book, You Are Worth It All, with high hopes of empowering and encouraging my sisters all over the world to become better individuals. I chose to use the word “sister” because that’s exactly how I perceive each and every one of you—as a sister. No matter what color you may be or what language you may speak, you are my sister. You will see the word sister a lot throughout the text of this book and the reason is so you’ll know that I’m talking directly to you. Since it’s next to impossible for me to know and remember every female in the world, I’m also using the word sister as an indication for your name. So any time you see the word sister, replace it with your name. That way you’ll know that I’m talking directly to you.
