About the Author

Deanna Draper Buck originally wrote her simple versions of scripture stories as gifts for her family.  Her "My First" boardbook series includes stories from the Old and New Testaments, the Articles of Faith, and Church History.  She and her husband, George, live in Louisville, Kentucky.  They have eight children and eight grandchildren.

About the Illustrator
Jerry Harston, illustrator of the "My First" boardbook series, worked in the graphics department of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as an illustrator for more than thirteen years.  He now runs his own studio and lives with his wife, Elizabeth, near Cleveland, Ohio.
