Overview

Moonstruck is a poetry collection recounting a fairy tale-like first love that had gone completely warped, nightmarish, and wrong. About the Author

Julia Burke is a Jersey girl through and through who calls the shore home. It’s also the scene for many of the poems in her debut poetry collection, Moonstruck. When she is not fine-tuning stanzas, she’s writing for a magazine full-time. Her simple pleasures include Oscar Wilde quotes, jogging along the beach, and admiring the sunset and oceanic backdrop for a delectable dinner accompanied by a glass of wine. Lauren Maraday's detailed, enchanting illustrations come to life to complete Moonstruck, marking her first drawings featured in a published book. Maraday is a graphic designer in New York City. An avid traveler, she spent four months residing in and exploring the charming Florence, Italy. She also enjoys painting nature with oil and watercolors and is a friend to all four-legged creatures (with a bias towards pugs).
