Hello! I'm E.S Night, Y/A writer. I am the author of the Wolfland Trilogy and the Greyblood Chronicles. Similar books on the same topic as my titles are - Twilight, Shiver, Pretty Little Liars and Vampire Diaries to name a few. When writing my stories, I understand that the topics I love - paranormal romance - is pretty much as far-fetched as I can get. However, if the supernatural world did exist, how would these character's really act? That's what I love to investigate. I'm aiming for as near to reality as possible in a world of magic. Wolfland, is also based on actual legends throughout.
More stuff about me? Let's get personal. I was in my third year of teacher training when my father suffered three strokes within a week. My life changed – irreversibly so. Without sounding like my very own sob story (Not my intention, believe me) I adapted and I became his carer. Once upon a time - I was a musician/songwriter. I never thought of writing crossing over into fiction - until I had a dream. (Yes, I know how that sounds). I had the same dream described in my novel. Don’t get me wrong I love to read, I read everything - actually - including food labels. The truth is, I never thought of writing as a career and now I can’t put my pen or laptop down.
I have been a qualified teacher in both, the Secondary and Further Education sectors for over three years, this allows me to have spent endless hours with my target audience when training. It seems that a handful of students over the years have shared my passion for everything supernatural, including werewolves, witches and vampires (YES. The Wolfland trilogy has vampires! The second novel has arguably the best character yet). The readers who enjoy love triangles, romantic angst and enviable fantasy worlds have inspired my stories completely.
