CHAPTER 1
Say It With Chevrons

Materials
• 1½ sheets 7-count plastic canvas
• Red Heart Super Saver Art. E300 medium weight yarn as listed in color key
• #16 tapestry needle
• 8 x 10-inch (20.3 x 25.4cm) frame in color of choice
• 8 x 10-inch (20.3 x 25.4cm) piece white felt
• Hot-glue gun
Project Note
The yardage given for the black yarn is for one letter. All letters will take the same amount of yarn.
Cutting & Stitching
1. Cut plastic canvas according to graphs (on the following pages), cutting out letter desired. Cut felt to fit chevron background; set aside.
2. Stitch and Overcast pieces following graphs.
3. Glue felt to back side of background. Center and glue letter to background front.
4. Place in frame and hang as desired.

CHAPTER 2Faith, Love & Hope

• Red Heart Super Saver Art. E300 and Comfort Art. E707D medium weight yarns as listed in color key
• #16 tapestry needle
Cutting & Stitching
1. Following graphs (on the following pages), cut two 71-hole x 95-hole pieces for front and back from plastic canvas, joining top and bottom portions of graphs before cutting both as one piece. Note: Be careful to count joining rows one time only. Back will remain unstitched.
2. Cut top, bottom and side edges from plastic canvas according to graph (on the following pages).
3. Stitch front, top and bottom edges and side edges following graphs, working uncoded background on front with putty Continental Stitches.
4. Whipstitch top and bottom edges to side edges, then Whipstitch edges to front and back.
5. Add a yarn hanging loop to center back 1 inch (2.5cm) from top edge.
CHAPTER 3Laundry Wall Hanging

• Red Heart Super Saver Art. E300 medium weight yarn as listed in color key

• ½ yard (0.5m) nylon cord or string
• Hot-glue gun
Cutting & Stitching
1. Following graphs (on the following pages), cut two 89hole x 107-hole pieces for front and back from plastic canvas, joining top and bottom portions of graphs before cutting both as one piece. Note: Be careful to count joining row one time only. Back will remain unstitched.
2. Cut jeans, T-shirts and socks from plastic canvas according to graphs (on the following pages).
3. Stitch front following graphs, working uncoded area with white Continental Stitches. Stitch and Overcast remaining pieces.
4. Whipstitch front and back together with royal.
5. Using photo as a guide, arrange cord and clothing on front. Glue in place.
6. Hang or display as desired.

• Red Heart Super Saver Art. E300 and Comfort Art. E707D medium weight yarns as listed in color key
• #16 tapestry needle
Cutting & Stitching
1. Cut front and back from plastic canvas according to graph (on the following pages). Back will remain unstitched.
2. Following pattern given for letter desired, stitch monogram, leaves and vine on front. Stitch letters EST and black borders of name banner. Do not stitch uncoded background at this time.
3. Following numbers chart, stitch desired year after EST, leaving six bars unworked on right side of last numeral.
4. Fill in uncoded background with Aran Continental Stitches.
5. Using sage and alphabet chart, embroider name desired between black borders of name banner, adjusting spacing between letters to fit name in space.
6. Using Aran, Whipstitch back to front. Hang or display as desired.
