About the Author

In 1953 I was born in Bloomington Indiana, my first home was a white grayest wooden house in a very small town call Sanders. I lived with my mother, Esma , my father, Roy Lee, brother Joe, who was 8 years older then I, my sister Joyce who was 7 years older then I. Our parents rented the house from my dads parents Charlie and Annie Eads. Later years my mother remarried and I happily grain a brother Rodney, a sister Debbie, I am the youngest of all. Far as writing stories I have had that dream since I first started making up stories for my son Jake when he was little. My sons daddy was also name Jake, he passed away and I now have married Bob Fox. Im a grandmother of ten. The name of my story is from Bobs grandmother Claire first name. I choose her name in her memory and also felt it had a Christmas sound to it, therefore I added a more Christmas touch by letting the characters last name be Bell. I chose her to be an angel sent from God to help a town in need of the Christmas spirit. I felt starting with children be a sweet touch. And it helps other children to truly feel a part of my story.
