About the Author

Dr. R.G. Bennett is an army officer, entrepreneur, and a consultant, facilitator, and researcher of design thinking methodologies and practices. During his military career, he has held various command positions where design thinking enabled improved training, reduced costs, better used resources, and provided solutions to a wide variety of military problems.

He has extensive experience in applying design thinking with NGOs, private sector businesses, educational institutions, and professional trade associations. He has been published in both the popular press and academic journals on topics relating to business, innovation, and leadership. He holds a variety of academic and professional qualifications ranging from a Red Seal Endorsement in the trades to a Doctor of Business Administration Degree.
