Overview

The Unlikely Tale of a Little Cactus
What happens after a young boy discovers a little cactus growing on the roof of his house? He seeks help from the Cactus Club! However, when the little cactus appears on the cover of their monthly magazine, the media attention provokes chaos in the neighborhood. It will take an act of courage for the boy to divert everyone’s attention to a worthy cause.

The eventful squeal to “Get Off My Roof!” – this children’s book is an entertaining read-aloud for parents and teachers to share with kids. Like its precursor, “Miracle On the Roof” incorporates colorful illustrations with important life lessons, only this time, on a modern social scale. The story illustrates the impact of the media, and having the faith and self-confidence to stand up and speak up for what it is right. Recommended for ages 4 and up
