Chapter One
JUNE 25, 2009 THURSDAY
Michael Jackson, 50, suffers a major heart attack at home in Los Angeles, California on June 25, 2009. He is officially pronounced dead at 2:26 AM local time at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. Jackson is survived by his three children, Michael Joseph Jackson Jr., Paris Michael Katherine Jackson, and Prince "Blanket" Michael Jackson II. Prior to his death, the musical superstar was preparing for what would be a series of 50 concerts titled "This Is It" starting July 13, 2009 at London's famed O2 Arena. News of Michael Jackson's death overloads web sites and the Internet nearly crashes.

Michael Jackson will always be one of the biggest influences of music forever,. Especially since the 1970's to now. He has touched us musically in every way possible. From music to video to dancing to just being the artist he wanted to be and everyone once to be. Micheal will always be remember for his music. We as people around the world have a forgiven any famous person for the faults and applaud him or her return to stardom.

It saddens me to read the judgmental comments of so many. However all of us have the right to voice our opinion. What we need to remember is that all of us fall short, in one way or another and all will answer for our actions. Life is too short to be judgmental. Let our character speak from the heart. Let compassion rule. Remember that those who show mercy will receive mercy and for the way we judge others, we will be judged. One fact is for sure, all of us will one day be in the same position that Michael Jackson is now, and what will others say about us?

Michael Jackson is a legend, who would have thought that he would die at the age 50 and not stay on for another 10 to 15yrs. He was a real legend and a ellusive superstar in the 80's to the 90's. I can remember growing up during my childhoods day s and would be listerning and watching his clips and fanatastic muzics. He will be remebered. Rest in Peace Mr. Jackson, even though there has been alot of painful critics about what you have done in the past, ..you stand out and asked for forgiveness. And regarded as a supersta in the 20th century.......

There are some real ignorant morons out there. I wasn't a big fan, I did like some of his 80's stuff, and he does remind me of Elvis who also died in a tragic way. Both of these men were on top of the world and then later things would go very wrong for both of them. Goes to show that happiness is indeed a tough commodity to hold on to. I hope that he has found peace.

.... his music was part of my childhood & it feels like the end of an era. and.. To the people who come here just to bash him & leave nasty remarks, how would you feel if this was YOUR family member everyone was talking about? Regardless of anything else, he was still someones son, brother, father, uncle and friend and people are grieving for him. It doesn't matter what you think of him, THEY still deserve your respect.

Uhm, I am really disgusted. I just watched Larry King Live, and they showed the picture of them trying to revive Michael, with his eyes shut. Honestly that is something I didn't want to see, and I doubt his family wanted it blasted all over the news. Way to for doing a vultures job and swinging in before the flies do. You people are disgusting, and I hope the family sues seeing you "don't even know who the source is" according to one of your reporters that was on Larry King Live. Have better taste, write about how he will be remembered for how he touched lives, not blast his dead face all over tv.

Michael Jackson, may your soul rest in peace. You will be missed by those who cherished your talent in music and for being the greatest music pop star ever. Yes, Micheal may have acted a bit stranger than usual but no one will ever make me believe he messed with little children. To all the haters out there, I dare anyone of you all who has never sinned to cast the first stone! You were not there so how would you know what really happened! God do not like ugly! Michael you will be missed. Those of you who have bashed Michael and intending to bash him need to look at your own life before you throw the stone. Who's prefect? We all have done something wrong. To the family I know you will miss Michael but try to remember all the good timed you shared and from this day forth spend as much time with your love ones show them how much you love them. man i'm only 9 and i miss him like crazy well at least he's on peace up there walking with God i was eating at Joes Crab Shack when someone got a text and then i found out music by michael came on and i almost cried i didnt eat my food and i spilt ranch i was a mess without him alive

Leaving aside his personal issues, the man had talent. He was a very lost soul who hopefully now is at peace. I dread the next few weeks as the vultures will descend and the media feeding frenzy will be horrific. In a way I suppose its fitting, he lived his life under the glare of the spotlight. Why should his death be any different? The ones I feel sorry for are his children, hopefully he was smart and had a will in place that will see to their well being without the three ring circus that a custody trial would become.

not relevant? Michaels music is some of the most influential and essential music out there. i hate most pop music but his work is something i can really get my teeth into as a musician. Michael was a great singer and performer, one of the best. its just such a shame he had to destroy himself with all his surgery. rest in peace MJ. you'll definitely be remembered.

Michael Jackson was a man of extremes; from his ever whitening skin (seems he refused to be black) to his multiple surgeries, only to end up with a ridiculous pointy nose. Had a chimp for pet (maybe it was more than a pet), only one silver glove, a Disneyland like house, slept with little kids which got him in trouble with the law more than once and strained his relationship with his sister. But, all in all, he was a good musician and contributed to the music world with a unique style.
