About the Author

Susan Lamb began interpreting ancestral and modern Puebloan people in 1983, at a little Puebloan site called Tusayan in Grand Canyon National Park. She left the National Park Service in 1987 to become a freelance writer of natural and human history. She lives in Flagstaff, Arizona, with her husband, photographer Tom Bean.
